This training was motivating as Shlomo shared the information with authenticity and passion for the Imago model. I gained a true understanding that Imago Therapy is a model that promotes connection within the space between where couples often don't spend safe and quality time strengthening their relationships. The introduction course demonstrated this well and leaves a yerning to receive advanced knowledge. I truly believe Imago is a game-changer and can offer stonger connections not only between romantic partners, but other dyadic relationships.

This has been the best training I have had the chance to attend. The moderator and presenters were knowledgeable and great to see so many ways that play therapy can be used and incorporated as well as the ideas that each brought to the table were stunning.

The course can be useful to daycare providers, foster care parents and anyone in a caregiver role. What I likes the most s was how to predict good behavior before it begins. To indirectly tell a child the behavior you want them to do. And also the empowering piece by saying “oh you know how to make a plan to get the game.”

Lots of us helping professionals were suddenly faced with the challenge of moving a lot of our work online due to the pandemic. There is no doubt that engaging children online is often more challenging than in-person and it can be hard to find new online interventions at times. This course provided me with a variety of new interventions that I was able to use right away that the children enjoy! Thank you!

I really loved the online training. It was very informative and provided new up to date information/techniques from well trained providers. Hearing presenters from all over the world teach their favorite techniques was so incredibly engaging - I really loved it!! It felt very inclusive, especially knowing that we're all working with children who are going through the same things and have the same struggles. I left the online webinar having an arsenal of new tools that I can use. Not only will I be using these techniques myself, but I will be sharing them with colleges and in my supervision groups so that my team can also use these great techniques.

The training was very intriguing and pertinent to the population of kiddos I work with. I feel like I understand all the kids with sensory issues so much more in-depth now.

This is the most in-depth webinar presentation I have attended so far in my career as a mental health professional. I came in to this workshop not knowing much on the topic but walking away with in depth knowledge about imposter syndrome that I can immediately apply in my professional work with clients struggling with this issue.

This is my second year of attending the webinar for Playborhood. I enjoyed all of the presenters and the activities that they presented in 2021 that I was excited to see what was in store for 2022. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I got some more great activities to use with my clients. It also inspired me and got my creative wheels going in my head to add to the activities presented. This was a great training that validates the Prescriptive way of practicing the art of therapy. It was great to watch and learn from practitioners around the world as they modeled session activities that promote and enhance a child's ability to express and articulate what the child is thinking and feeling.

I appreciated this training because it made the concept of regulation more accessible and reinforced the importance of taking the discovery of regulation slowly and without rushing. I feel so often the therapeutic process can feel rushed and I think the reminder of spending a lot of time with developing these skills with clients is huge.

The instructor shares practical activities to use in different stages of the group process. The activities are useful, helpful, and adaptable to all ages.

This training was well organized and provided a wonderful opportunity to learn quite a bit from a recorded webinar. I was happily surprised by how much I gained from this webinar!

The instructors were extremely knowledgeable! Grounded in theory, the interventions shared were extremely applicable to practice immediately. All of the instructors were fantastic at giving you the confidence to implement these great new resources.

As a new therapist in my first few years before I can be clinically licensed these trainings are amazing. Being able to learn from experienced clinicians makes me feel more competent in my practice. This training gave me real life application that I can use and feel better prepared.

I thought the instructor was knowledgeable, but the training would have been more beneficial if there were more interventions that didn't require buying a lot of supplies. Also, I would have liked to see interventions that were simpler and would not take up the entire session or multiple sessions. Plus, things that are less messy would have been helpful because in my setting I don't have a sink nearby to wash up messes from paint or slime.

Most trainings on this topic are heavy on statistics and factors, I appreciate how this presentation provided facts as well as encouraged creativity in the counseling room.

The Playborhood is a fantastic training. I came away with immediate and relevant interventions to use with children and families both in person or via telehealth. I now can breath fresh content into my teletherapy sessions with very useful prescriptive techniques from play therapists from all over the world.

I'm happy I attended the course. I learned a lot of tools and innovative resources to engage children online. It is hard to plan and try to retain the focus of children through a monitor, but the techniques and ideas provided are fun, and children love fun. If they do not feel like it is a session or exercise, they will look forward to meeting the counselor weekly or during the scheduled time. The facilitator did a great job giving examples and including attendees to participate. Although I was in the crowd, she made me feel like a happy kid in the session. She does an amazing job with her tone, occasional smiles and making the attendees feel welcome. I will use some of what I learned today and apply it to my practice.

Trainer was well organized, thoughtful and culturally sensitive, current to our current world, and online virtual play therapy skills for all to use with clients to help them express their emotions.

This training was deep and practical, it showed how trauma forms and how this impacts treatment. Meeting the client where they are at is so important and I never understood the significance of the therapautic bond as explained today. 

I will have to watch it a couple of times to absorb the abundance of information!

I really enjoyed this course, and though there were a couple of small hang-ups with Zoom, I thought that the virtual training worked pretty well. It was helpful to learn more of the fundamentals of mindfulness, and to learn some exercises and techniques that can be used with clients. Would love to participate in a follow-up training with some case examples! Great training, and would recommend to others.

As a beginning counselor, my goals are to strengthen connections between parents and their children to promote cohesion within the home and the family unity.

I really appreciated the instructor's knowledge and style of presenting material. It is often easy to get distracted or lost in webinars but Lynn was engaging and the content remained applicable and interesting throughout. It was a great mix of looking at symptoms, assessment, treatment, parent communication, resource sharing, etc.

It is a useful course to learn activities to engage, develop rapport, and help children & adolescents express themselves.

This training balances emphasis on the basics of online therapy with children and specific and useful interventions that can be done via telehealth with children. The interventions provided can be used with a wide array of focus/concentration abilities and a variety of symptoms/diagnoses. They are both fun to help with engagement, and grounding to help with kids who are easily amped up or dysregulated by physically active interventions. I appreciate the variety of interventions and that many of them can be implemented both via telehealth and in person.

Dr Joe was the best online CEU instructor I’ve ever had. Not exaggerating! I’m going to look for another class by him.

This was a helpful tool providing steps to help start your own practice which helped reduce the worry about how to go about doing it.

This is a great intro training to Bipolar D/O. It goes through all of the criteria for the different diagnosis, episodes, psychotic features etc. It's clear and the instructor does a good job mixing in her experience working with individuals with BD along side describing the illness.

This course was an excellent presentation about how to conduct an online therapy session with a child or teen, with specific strategies and games demonstrated and explained clearly.

There were a few presenters who simply 'read' their power point - (not as engaging!); and one or two who spoke WAY too fast for anyone who was taking notes (good thing there is access to the recording!). Overall, however - the "learning" was fun, the information relevant (& current) and the variety of presenters and backgrounds & theory bases made for an excellent presentation! ...AND a fun-filled way to start my day! Thank you! ;-)

This is the 2nd Playborhood event I have attended, and each time I have been truly inspired and leave eager to try some of the new interventions I learned. I love hearing from clinicians from all over the world and to see how Liana has drawn everyone together to create this engaging forum. As a TF-CBT trainer and therapist, I can't wait to implement some of these ideas into the trauma work that I do.

I think that this training was very informative. It offered a number of different interventions with clear examples that were specific to the work of children's mental health. I also love how there were presentations from different cultures. It demonstrated that diversity is so important with working with kiddos and allowed for a safe space for the therapists as well!

She presented it in a clear and concise manner without minimizing any of the material. I loved the case vignettes and actual dialogue examples that she gave.

It gave specific interventions to use with clients, a very brief theoretical framework and showed how to use the interventions with clients. The instructors were straight and to the point. Before attending this training, I was uncertain about the therapeutic value of some games and which ones to include in the playroom, so I now have another tool for my kit. The instructor was very knowledgeable, and a great reflection on how she has incorporated games, into her sessions with children, the dialogue that can take place during gameplay was also very useful.

This was a great training on Positive Psychology. While most of us probably use components of this model, it was nice to learn more helpful strategies and interventions to use with clients.

Excellent clinical review of eating disorder treatment using FBT, IMT. Explained clearly from the medical and psychological viewpoint the severity and complexity of treating eating disorder clients, and reinforced the necessity of this specialization due to the lethality of this population.

Ms. Lynn Louise Wonders is very knowledge and skillful in providing clinical supervision to the mental health professionals, provides informative information, especially the Integrative Developmental Model and Discrimination Model of Supervision, and has a very calm presence as a presenter.

This is a great course on grief. It goes over the different models to use in sessions and discusses so many different aspects of grief. The instructor is fantastic, very thorough and organized!

I thought this was very helpful, and I will be implementing these tools immediately as I set up supervision with prospective play therapists. Lynn was clear and presented useful and actionable information.

This training was wonderful. I learned a variety of ways to incorporate dreams into my practice with youth and families. The instructor touched on how to get caregivers involved, how to help the youth communicate their dreams, and ways to be a safe container for nightmares.

I work with individuals, children and families affected by HT, DV, and SA. This knowledge will be added to my arsenal of guiding these clients to healing! The Instructor gave a lot of information in a short amount of time, though a bit too fast in some areas. However, I appreciate his appreciation for time management!

As a clinical psychologist and Registered Play Therapist I have had decades of training and taken countless seminars. Lynn Louise Wonders' 20 Play Therapy Interventions for Anxiety with Older Children was a delightful surprise. Her enthusiasm and deep understanding of what it takes to engage this sometimes difficult age group by using creative and engaging strategies is the best I have ever seen. The strategies were indeed creative yet presented with succinct clarity and straightforward instructions. Sometimes these seminars can be tedious at the end of which one wonders what of this will I actually use, but every strategy she taught made intuitive sense for the play therapy process and was easy to grasp. I eager to try them. At the end, she presents several short well done psycho-educational videos that could be used directly with our clients and sprinkles the entire presentation with resources. Thank-you for this engaging educational experience .

I thought this training was well-prepared and skillfully presented. I was engaged and learned about a lot of new activities I can use in treating kids and teens in my own practice.

Presenter was clear and concise. Distinction between the various diagnoses in DSM of Bipolar were quite helpful. She used many examples from her own practice and research which was quite impressive. The time allotted could have been increased, but due to the short nature, I was able to return to my workday without interruption. Her resources are great and I am planning to purchase the workbooks that she recommended. I am looking forward to next week's training as well.

Tips and Techniques for online Therapy with Children provided ample activities for children of all ages that are easy, quick, and simple to complete all while providing opportunities to explore and process thoughts and feelings.

Due to COVID and switching to telemental health it has been a struggle to engage younger kids, but this training has provided me with some great activities that will assist me in assisting my clients virtually. Liana Lowenstein's trainings are full of practical, creative interventions for working with children of all ages and their families. The presenters are world-renowned and diverse with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in child and family therapy.

Dr Treisman embodies warmth, compassion, and skill. In this presentation, she teaches co-regulation as an experience. I felt the regulation through her teaching methods and found myself highly engaged and wanting to hear more. This is a challenge these days after SO many lessons being delivered virtually, but she is truly a gifted speaker.

Kathryn Krase presented the material in a helpful and organized manner. Her background and wealth of knowledge is impressive! I'm looking forward to hearing her speak again on various topics.

I liked that several different styles, modalities, and interventions were presented. It was helpful in making sure there was something to take away from the training for everyone (hopefully) as well as ideas for working with different age groups.

I liked hearing about various interventions, how to apply them and their purpose with creative ideas. All the presenters seemed knowledgeable and I enjoyed the variety of approaches presented.

The presenter was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the topic, as well as engaging with the participants despite it being through webinar (vs in person). This course helped to normalize the prevalence and symptoms of trauma. As a clinician, I am now aware that many of my clients may come in with traumas, however "big' or "small" they are to the client. I appreciate the suggestions for intervention.

The training and instructor's skill, content, style were exactly what I needed to add to my current practice. I would attend another training in the future and highly recommend this one.

I thought this course was very helpful in giving some techniques to use in play therapy.

This training was incredibly helpful. I received an overview of helpful therapies and resources to learn more and receive certifications in those therapies. With certain therapy styles, I've learned enough today to get started with clients if I wanted. I learned so many informative techniques to use with clients and plan to implement in my session this evening. I appreciated that the techniques were diverse and catered to the needs and mindsets of clients at varying points of the healing process and with different preferred healing and learning modalities.

A great review of important concepts in assessment and intervention of suicidality. Assessment tools were very helpful.

Best online interactive training I have had. I usually try to go in person but this training makes me rethink my option of online trainings. I felt more involved than I have been in some in person trainings. The presenter was very knowledgeable and engaging.

I was so impressed by this training! The knowledge of the instructor really helped me grasp how trauma shows up in the experiences of the clients I work with, and I felt like I was learning things I could apply in my practice even today.

I really enjoyed this training even though I did not attend the live webinar. I always come back to the content that was presented in this training for reference when working with clients. I do wish that self harming /SI was a topic that was discussed in this training because it is very prominent within the child/ tween age range. Overall, I thought the instructor's activities and style were great. I learned a lot from this training and am excited to come back for the next edition!

This felt like a good overview of the theory behind mindfulness as well as the practical application of techniques/skills to use with clients. The visual aids, examples, and videos were especially useful.

This was a great training and I honestly can't believe it was free! I learned a lot of new techniques that I know I will actually use with my clients. I also saw a few tools that I am interested in learning more about.

The instructor presented the topic of tackling trauma in play therapy in an engaging and very clear manner, explaining concepts such as the use of touch in play therapy, and it’s pros and cons as well as other interventions that can best help children experiencing trauma navigate the inevitable issues that arise.

Dr. Ohnogi was very thorough in her presentation and provided some good, creative activities.

I found the information extremely helpful. Some of the children I work with have severe behavioral issues and are working on increasing their focus beyond 30 seconds; as such, not all of the techniques were relevant for my client demographic. But where applicable, the lessons here have been effective, particular with children who experience anxiety, lack interpersonal skills, and who experience symptoms of trauma disorders and attachment disorders. Some of the presenters gave useful, fresh ideas for telehealth with children.

The instructors were highly engaging, had great ideas, and were wonderfully diverse. It was wonderful hearing from all parts of the globe.

Tiffani Dilworth, LCPC, is a strong presenter in the field of grief therapy. Her competence and wide experiences are evident in her training which provide the trainees assurance in developing a practical and efficient toolbox for clients. This was a very worthwhile session.

This provided clinicians with a whole new way to address anger in the therapy setting. Especially on learning how to meet the child or adolescent on their level. Developing a non-reactive approach to their behaviors and getting into deeper reasons why the anger was expressed in this manner.

I enjoyed the opportunity to hear from therapists around the world. We rarely get the chance to hear from others around the world and it is delightful we are doing great things all over! They provided real life perspectives and techniques that I can use in my own practice. I am excited to share I am using techniques from colleagues around the world! 

A very high level of competence and command over a very large breadth and depth of material, that's not at all strictly "textbook" knowledge, or too "clinical." Lots of grounded, real-world application and examples, along with plenty of insights, implications, and tips, that are clearly from actual experience, and typically not found in the textbooks or academic settings.

Ms. Lynn Louise Wonders is knowledgeable play therapist, provides a basic foundation for seminal and historical play therapy theories, and offers a helpful PPT to facilitate the participant’s professional learning.
