You’re not alone in your struggle to maintain timely, organized, and well-written assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes! Insurance guidelines are more confusing than ever, and we all fear the ever-threatening retractions and audits. As clinicians, we want to help as many people as possible while unburdening the paperwork so that we can be most effective in doing what we love: serving children and their families. More so, the use of Play Therapy requires careful documentation to show its evidence-based nature as well as to capture progress and work.
Through this workshop, you’ll develop an understanding of the “payer perspective” when documenting play therapy sessions, along with tools for the management of your time and techniques for more eloquent (and not more time-consuming) note taking.
This course will provide play therapists with effective tools for navigating medical necessity, incorporating evidence-based information into treatment planning and documenting their play therapy sessions.

- Identify at least 3 components of Medical Necessity as it applies to Play Therapy.

Passing Score and Retest Policy:
Completing the video and achieving a posttest score of 80% or above is required to receive CE award. Open material permitted and one can retest unlimited times. Upon passing, we will email you a completion certificate within one business day. If failed, we will email you a retest in the same timeframe.
Cancellation, Policies and Refunds:
Fee covers: Attendance, course material and CE award to those who successfully complete the course and pass the posttest. Registration is open indefinitely. Recordings, handouts and completion certificates are accessible for a guaranteed one year as long as your account is active.
