This 2-hour webinar looks at the use of play therapy interventions with girls ages 10-12. They are no longer little girls but they’re not quite adolescents and this developmental stage can require a special playful approach in order to build the all-important rapport between therapists and child and develop a play therapy treatment plan that will help girls this age address and work through the issues causing them difficulties.

Learning Objectives:
Upon the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the developmental stage of this window between younger childhood and adolescence and how to build rapport, assess and develop a play therapy treatment plan specifically for girls age 10-12.
- List 10 play therapy interventions that are generally very effective with “tween" girls.
- Explain how to involve parents in the course of a play therapy course of treatment and how to provide parents with helpful psycho-education and parenting support.
