Course Description:
Dr. Lucene Wisniewski the clinical director and founder of Center for Evidence Based Treatment Ohio and Amy Kalasunas, LPCC-S the Chief Operating Officer of CEBT Ohio, and director of DBT services will co-present a four-day advanced training in the treatment of eating disorders with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with a cultural adaptation for the Orthodox Jewish population.

This training helps clinicians learn how DBT has been adapted for eating disorders and how to decide which DBT treatment (standard DBT, DBT for emotional eating, RO DBT or DBT for complex/co-morbid patients) is appropriate for which individuals.

This training aims to help providers prioritize eating disorder and suicidal behaviors in the context of DBT Targets and gain clarity on the medical complications that may arise when treating eating disorders. Clinicians of all training backgrounds are welcome. This training will take place over Zoom.
