About this class:Mental health practitioners are always seeking new and innovative ideas to add to their therapeutic repertoire. In this must-see webinar, learn from four internationally recognized therapists as they share their favorite play and expressive arts techniques.
Play and expressive arts techniques provide an effective means for therapeutic work with children who, by virtue of their developmental needs or their treatment issues, are difficult to engage in traditional "talking" therapy. Play and expressive arts techniques facilitate physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
Children and teens are often reluctant to verbally express their thoughts and feelings, or to address the issues that brought them to therapy. Play and expressive arts techniques can be used creatively to facilitate open communication, and to help clients effectively work through their treatment goals.
This Masterclass will provide a brief theoretical overview of Prescriptive Play Therapy. Each guest speaker will present one of their most effective therapeutic techniques, and will discuss how it fits within the empirically supported theoretical framework.

In person/Live webinars: Purchases made within 7 days of an in-person or live webinar are non-refundable. A full refund or site credit is available within 7 days of purchase. In person refunds incur a 10% administration fee after 24 hours pass from the time of purchase.
After the 7-day window, you may: A) Transfer your registration to a colleague B) Access the on-demand version C) Receive site credit valid for one year from purchase date.
