Course Overview

Via live interactive webinar
Course Description:
Trauma lurks in the psyche of many of our clients and in our own lives. It comes in many different forms and experiences, some acute while many cumulative. One thing remains a constant. The seven messages that trauma brings and the havoc that its presence wreaks in its wake. Like a merciless unending stampede, the seven lies of trauma become a life and legacy.

The seven lies workshop is about recognizing the incubation of trauma and the environment that promotes and grows more trauma and more dysfunction. Most importantly, this training will offer ways to recognize and to help our clients overcome these lies. We will learn how to find our truth amongst the lies and to foster a healthy and thriving life from among the challenges.

Core Wellness Reviews

Ashley Hayden, LMSW

This was by far one of my favorite trainings. I often have attended trainings that share therapeutic techniques but not how to complete the activity with the client. I feel as though I gained a lot of knowledge professionally from this recorded training, that I can easily take back to my practice tomorrow.

As a clinician that was attending just to gain some more insight into play therapy as I have not used it in some time, I wanted to learn some strategies to apply to my work with adolescents on the Autism Spectrum. The content and presentations were presented clearly and useful. I enjoyed learning from professionals from all over the world. Thank you for the opportunity.
