Via live interactive webinar
Note: This course is a standalone and also part of the Trauma Mastermind
Most trauma occurred in a chaotic and scary setting and circumstance. The key to gaining rapport and therapeutic traction is creating a safe and predictable work environment between clinician and client. This training will focus on 3 trauma-informed safety and grounding techniques as well as addressing effective ways to create rapport with clients. The first session and interactions with the client can set a powerful tone for the work that is to follow. We want to create a validating, supportive and healthy bond that allows the client to maximize his or her time with you.
Upon the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Recall the clinical features that create trauma and impact the client.
- Apply 3 trauma informed mindfulness, rapport building and grounding techniques.
