Course Description:
Note: This course is a standalone and also part of the Trauma Mastermind

Working with individuals who have experienced trauma can be challenging. This is compounded when one or both partners in the relationship bring with them past trauma issues. This brief but practical training will begin by defining what the PTSD couple looks like and how to begin therapy with them.

We will outline the treatment plan as well as clear individual and couple trauma-informed techniques to help each person thrive on an individual basis and then as a couple. If you work with couples, or even individuals who are in a relationship, this is a training you don’t want to miss.
Learning Objectives:
Upon the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Define the PTSD couple.
  • Apply 3 trauma informed couples counseling interventions
