In this engaging and interactive training, therapists, social workers and psychologists will learn about how to diagnose, conceptualize and treat psychological issues including depression, anxiety, personality disorders and more and treat them using evidence-based mindfulness client-care interventions. We will focus on Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for client care. Participants will experience mindfulness techniques and learn how to teach clients to center and calm themselves to improve client care outcomes and increase client engagement. Learn the basic principles of mindfulness theories and practice, 5 core skills of mindfulness for client-care interventions, 4 distractors from mindfulness and how to teach clients to combat them, how to teach clients self-regulation, self-compassion and acceptance and much more!
