Participants will learn how games can be used to assess behavior, temperament, strengths and challenges, how to determine whether games are appropriate for the individual child’s treatment, and how to make a game more than just a game. Participants will learn to incorporate the play therapy modality into their game usage. Additionally, participants will learn a large array of therapeutic benefits of games and a variety of new games to incorporate in their practice. I am so grateful that you allowed me ‘in’ to take this training online. As my practice is in Pocomoke City, south of Ocean City, Maryland, I practice 4 miles from the VA state line and it’s difficult to travel. Please keep these great trainings coming!

Informative and well done! Batsheva did a great job identifying games relating to certain challenges, such as impulse control and anxiety. She also taught us when not to use games as a therapeutic tool.
