Great presenter! Articulate and easy to understand. Good specific interventions.

It is an international play therapy conference as all the speakers are dedicated in helping children with play techniques. Their deep love of children is seem through the techniques sharing in the webinar. My heart is deeply touched by our presenters and hope to learn more from each of them. Thank you to the organizer - it was   such a success and wonderful experience for me.

Skill, content and style were great. It was neat to learn from such a wonderful mentor who I may have not otherwise had a chance pre Covid. Loved the PDF resource so much as well as the virtual therapy room introduction.

I deal with difficult anger issues and kids who refuse to talk. This workshop transformed my outlook and gave me an entire toolbox of interventions which I will be using with my clients. Thank you so much! I can’t compliment and recommend this workshop enough

I loved Dr. Tropper's rapid-fire pace in his presentation. My brain responds positively to that pace and information is received and stored more effectively. I was able to stay focused throughout, since he used engaging slides and personal examples, all in the rapid-fire mode!

This program was invaluable to me. I feel now more confident in my abilities to better help students and their parents learn how to regulate themselves.

This training was excellent is teaching child clinicians about this common but little known childhood challenge. I liked the history, the interventions, and the encouragement that parents need to be involved.

This training made me want to continue working with children. As a clinician that has a range of clients, I felt defeated in working with children because the classic clinical talk therapy is too advanced for children. This training showed me how to help children process trauma and work on necessary goals through play and art in an interactive and practical way. The instructor was fabulous, highly reccomend.

This was a great training over cultural competency. This is a topic that each and every person in the helping field could benefit from not just social workers. The information was easy to understand and comprehend. I look forward to more trainings with this presenter and agency.

I really enjoyed this course, and though there were a couple of small hang-ups with Zoom, I thought that the virtual training worked pretty well. It was helpful to learn more of the fundamentals of mindfulness, and to learn some exercises and techniques that can be used with clients. Would love to participate in a follow-up training with some case examples! Great training, and would recommend to others.

This is the most in-depth webinar presentation I have attended so far in my career as a mental health professional. I came in to this workshop not knowing much on the topic but walking away with in depth knowledge about imposter syndrome that I can immediately apply in my professional work with clients struggling with this issue.

Core Wellness courses are much more practical than many I have completed. I enjoy being able to walk away with skills that I can apply in my practice as opposed to just theories and statistics. I look forward to more courses from them.

I think the trainers style was pleasant, she was very knowledgeable, and was very engaging with the other individuals during the training.

There were many new techniques presented today that I feel I want to add to my toolbox and begin implementing with my kiddos.

This course provided a lot of helpful information about working with trauma clients and understanding attachment theory. I liked how it explored the somatic experiences of trauma and used examples to help clinicians to relate to what was being discussed.

The instructor was very skilled, the information was presented in a direct, easy to understand manner. I don't regularly use play therapy in my practice, but I still found the information easy to understand and useful.

Good presentation of information about trauma experience and symptoms. Too little time explaining strategies to use in session, and too little theoretical/empirical support for recommended strategies.

I really enjoyed this training even though I did not attend the live webinar. I always come back to the content that was presented in this training for reference when working with clients. I do wish that self harming /SI was a topic that was discussed in this training because it is very prominent within the child/ tween age range. Overall, I thought the instructor's activities and style were great. I learned a lot from this training and am excited to come back for the next edition!

This was the clearest, most well-organized and comprehensive training I've seen that addresses teens' behaviors in the context of developmental needs and what is occurring in their brains that make their behaviors make sense (and what to do when the behaviors are problematic). Excellent presentation!

Informative and easy to follow and utilize material.

Dr. Webb's knowledge and expertise was evident thoughout the entire training. Although short, she gave us a great and helpful overview of CEN conceptulization and treatment. I really learned so much.

I really like Liana's webinars. They give me ideas for how to make sessions fun and engaging. 

The course can be useful to daycare providers, foster care parents and anyone in a caregiver role. What I likes the most s was how to predict good behavior before it begins. To indirectly tell a child the behavior you want them to do. And also the empowering piece by saying “oh you know how to make a plan to get the game.”

Before attending this training, I was uncertain about the therapeutic value of some games and which ones to include in the playroom, so I now have another tool for my kit. The instructor was very knowledgeable, and a great reflection on how she has incorporated games, into her sessions with children, the dialogue that can take place during gameplay was also very useful.

This was most probably the best course I've attended in a long while. It was jam packed with simple but really effective ideas that can be used with a range of clients, children, young people and even adults in both individual work and group/family therapy work. Each speaker presented their technique with knowledge and enthusiasm and it was really easy to see how I could apply these to my own practice. I will definitely be looking out for next years conference.

This training was motivating as Shlomo shared the information with authenticity and passion for the Imago model. I gained a true understanding that Imago Therapy is a model that promotes connection within the space between where couples often don't spend safe and quality time strengthening their relationships. The introduction course demonstrated this well and leaves a yerning to receive advanced knowledge. I truly believe Imago is a game-changer and can offer stonger connections not only between romantic partners, but other dyadic relationships.

I really appreciated the wide variety of techniques and enjoyed hearing from so many excellent therapists/presenters.

This provided clinicians with a whole new way to address anger in the therapy setting. Especially on learning how to meet the child or adolescent on their level. Developing a non-reactive approach to their behaviors and getting into deeper reasons why the anger was expressed in this manner.

I enjoyed the presentation and the instructor's passion for bibliotherapy was contagious. I want to run out and beef up my library! While I was grateful for the rationale for using bibliotherapy, what I appreciated most was the instruction in application.

She presented detailed instruction on evidence based psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral treatment for insomnia as well as associated treatments and strategies to best help our clients (and even ourselves) struggling with insomnia.

This training was very beneficial to my current practice, especially working with younger children who can be difficult to engage! Hands on tools that any therapist can easily apply.

This is a great course on grief. It goes over the different models to use in sessions and discusses so many different aspects of grief. The instructor is fantastic, very thorough and organized!

Both instructors presented the material on enuresis and encopresis in a very informative and engaging manner. I learned applicable techniques I can use with clients (and with my own child’s bed wetting issues) such as creating a visual bathroom map to better help a child that is dealing with this issue.

This training was deep and practical, it showed how trauma forms and how this impacts treatment. Meeting the client where they are at is so important and I never understood the significance of the therapautic bond as explained today. 

This training balances emphasis on the basics of online therapy with children and specific and useful interventions that can be done via telehealth with children. The interventions provided can be used with a wide array of focus/concentration abilities and a variety of symptoms/diagnoses. They are both fun to help with engagement, and grounding to help with kids who are easily amped up or dysregulated by physically active interventions. I appreciate the variety of interventions and that many of them can be implemented both via telehealth and in person.

  Ms. Lynn Louise Wonders is a very knowledge and experienced play therapist who provides informative information, playful interventions, and resourses in regard to working with children and adolescents presenting with SM to facilitate the participant’s professional learning and growth.

This training was great! It had a nice balance of theory, assessment, and interventions. I enjoyed the experiential parts of the session as it allowed demonstration of some of the techniques mentioned. I now feel more confident in addressing grief with child and adolescent clients.

I really appreciate the language used and attention paid to describing and connecting some important key elements of DBT. I picked up some new and meaningful ways to have conversations with the middle school-aged DBT group I facilitate.

It is often easy to get distracted or lost in webinars but Lynn was engaging and the content remained applicable and interesting throughout. Tiffani Dilworth, LCPC, is a strong presenter in the field of grief therapy. Her competence and wide experiences are evident in her training which provide the trainees assurance in developing a practical and efficient toolbox for clients. This was a very worthwhile session.

I think that this training was very informative. It offered a number of different interventions with clear examples that were specific to the work of children's mental health. I also love how there were presentations from different cultures. It demonstrated that diversity is so important with working with kiddos and allowed for a safe space for the therapists as well!

As a clinical psychologist and Registered Play Therapist I have had decades of training and taken countless seminars. Lynn Louise Wonders' 20 Play Therapy Interventions for Anxiety with Older Children was a delightful surprise. Her enthusiasm and deep understanding of what it takes to engage this sometimes difficult age group by using creative and engaging strategies is the best I have ever seen. The strategies were indeed creative yet presented with succinct clarity and straightforward instructions. Sometimes these seminars can be tedious at the end of which one wonders what of this will I actually use, but every strategy she taught made intuitive sense for the play therapy process and was easy to grasp. I eager to try them. At the end, she presents several short well done psycho-educational videos that could be used directly with our clients and sprinkles the entire presentation with resources. Thank-you for this engaging educational experience .

Core Wellness has provided some very good trainings and this was one of the best. I think it is well worth any clinician's time to take this training. I learned from three talented instructors both about theory and about interventions to use in practice with clients around regulation and anger.

The instructor presented the topic of child protection versus parental rights, and subsequently child right, and grandparent rights in a very interesting and engaging manner. She gave a thorough lesson of how various court cases have shaped these rights over time. Ethics and law in therapy is not always the most engaging topic and yet I found the topic/course fascinating and am curious to take similar courses given by this instructor in the future.

This course is a gem. I learned so much from it about working effectively with couples from IFS perspective. Dr. Tropper is a very knowledgeable and engaging presenter. This workshop is a must for therapists who work with couples.

I was able to immediately start using what I learned in training with my client that was scheduled after the training. She was very interested in the mood chart and I will definitely be exploring the various resources the instructor provided. I liked her own case examples, her use of resources and comfort level with the population she spoke about.

This training is a great way to get the hours required by APT for seminal and historical theories in play therapy for the RPT certification. It is thorough and concise.

Dr Treisman embodies warmth, compassion, and skill. In this presentation, she teaches co-regulation as an experience. I felt the regulation through her teaching methods and found myself highly engaged and wanting to hear more. This is a challenge these days after SO many lessons being delivered virtually, but she is truly a gifted speaker.

The facilitator was highly skilled and was able to add-on the presenters' techniques.

This by the far best body image training I have ever attended. Although I watched a recorddd version, I wish I had been there for the live version!! Will definitely attend in the future.

This was a great training and I honestly can't believe it was free! I learned a lot of new techniques that I know I will actually use with my clients. I also saw a few tools that I am interested in learning more about.

This training gave practical knowledge and skills to help various clients using play-therapy techniques. It gave specific interventions to use with clients, a very brief theoretical framework and showed how to use the interventions with clients. The instructors were straight and to the point. As a play therapist working in family court work, this training was practical and skillfully presented in a short training. I would recommend this training to anyone working with parent-child contact problems or seeing families who are experiencing separation.

I really liked learning how PTSD can be seen and treated in a couple.

This training was so beneficial and informative; I honestly wish that it was longer and could be expanded for a couple days or even an entire week! All of the presenters were experienced, knowledgeable, and provided practical interventions for use with children and adults. I appreciated the diversity and representation from around the world, along with cultural considerations provided. All of the resources that were given to supplement this live webinar are the cherry on top of wonderful presenters and a well-organized program! I would definitely recommend this training or any future trainings provided by this excellent team of experts!

There were a few presenters who simply 'read' their power point - (not as engaging!); and one or two who spoke WAY too fast for anyone who was taking notes (good thing there is access to the recording!). Overall, however - the "learning" was fun, the information relevant (& current) and the variety of presenters and backgrounds & theory bases made for an excellent presentation! ...AND a fun-filled way to start my day! I found Dr. Treisman's training on using play and expressive arts to help traumatized children self-regulate to be extremely helpful because of the attention and care given to pacing and strategies for facilitating the integration of the regulatory skills based on the neuroscience of developmental and relational trauma.

The training was engaging and I would recommend this presenter.

  This was a great course. It was helpful to see case examples and hear about other people's experiences as well.

I absolutely loved this Playborhood training! I loved hearing all the different ideas that people from across the world had. I especially enjoyed how these activities covered several different types of theoretical orientations as well, meaning that there was something for every therapist who attended regardless of their theoretical orientation. This was a very fast-paced training so I had to write quickly when taking notes. I am very thankful for the HUGE resource handouts as well!

This was a great training that validates the Prescriptive way of practicing the art of therapy. It was great to watch and learn from practitioners around the world as they modeled session activities that promote and enhance a child's ability to express and articulate what the child is thinking and feeling.

I loved this home study. I am at the beginning of my journey using DBT and I feel as though I I have formed a good foundation of DBT. I found the presenter to be full of knowledge and she provided examples that were helpful. I felt eager to learn more at the end of the study.

I appreciated this training because it made the concept of regulation more accessible and reinforced the importance of taking the discovery of regulation slowly and without rushing. I feel so often the therapeutic process can feel rushed and I think the reminder of spending a lot of time with developing these skills with clients is huge.

This training was incredibly helpful to me to increase my understanding of AI and it's applications to my practice.

CORE CE is always educational and beneficial for me. I am able to interact with other clinicians around the country and find out what the best practices are currently.

This was a straight to the point training but still had an abundance of information. A one-hour CE training was conducive to my work day and it provided me with helpful tools. Dr. Joseph Tropper is very knowledgeable and personable, and I look forward to attending more trainings with him.

Sitting on Zoom for two days covering theory and content can be tough, but not with this course! Dr. April is amazing. She organized and delivered this training in a way that kept me tuned in, engaged, and wanting more. She magically created a safe learning environment (VIRTUALLY, WOW!) that allowed participants to relax into her process, to ask general and individualized questions, and in the end, to feel capable of implementing sand tray therapy today! I can hardly wait! I hope to have Dr. April's skillset one day- she's inspiring.

It's a beautiful day in the playborhood: World Edition! was a fabulous training in learning different play therapy techniques from experts around the world. I learned valuable tools to use in the clinical setting and also with students that I work with in a public school. I look forward to using these techniques and integrating them into my practice. The Core Wellness team was prompt at answering questions and the training was well timed and laid out. 

This training was a wonderful training. Due to COVID and switching to telemental health it has been a struggle to engage younger kids, but this training has provided me with some great activities that will assist me in assisting my clients virtually. I would recommend this training to any one interested in learning new interactive techniques.

I'm happy I attended the course. I learned a lot of tools and innovative resources to engage children online. It is hard to plan and try to retain the focus of children through a monitor, but the techniques and ideas provided are fun, and children love fun. If they do not feel like it is a session or exercise, they will look forward to meeting the counselor weekly or during the scheduled time. The facilitator did a great job giving examples and including attendees to participate. Although I was in the crowd, she made me feel like a happy kid in the session. She does an amazing job with her tone, occasional smiles and making the attendees feel welcome. I will use some of what I learned today and apply it to my practice.

A truly helpful resource to a clinician who encounters disordered eating at a variety of levels. Easy to understand and includes practical interventions to utilize in practice as well as helpful information for when increased or medical treatment is necessary.

The best part, other than the variety, was the international component to it.  I believe that helps us to feel globally connected and realize our clients have similar issues globally (normalizing). Each presenter was very knowledgeable and provided clear understanding of how to utilize the techniques.  

Beth is such a great instructor. I enjoy seeing then putting into practice all the interventions she shares.

I love how engaging she is and all the playful and creative ways she uses to teach and reinforce CBT theory and concepts. Best online interactive training I have had. I usually try to go in person but this training makes me rethink my option of online trainings. I felt more involved than I have been in some in person trainings. The presenter was very knowledgeable and engaging.

Dr. Kurtz's training on treating selective mutism was one of the best I've attended in a long time. I was impressed by his knowledge and experience. His humor and humility allowed me to feel a sense of connection.

This is a great intro training to Bipolar D/O. It goes through all of the criteria for the different diagnosis, episodes, psychotic features etc. It's clear and the instructor does a good job mixing in her experience working with individuals with BD along side describing the illness.

The presenter was engaging and presented the subject matter of why teens engage in self injurious behavior and techniques we can use to help treat these patients in therapy in a clear and constructive manner. I would be interested in other workshops by this instructor in the future.

Excellent information.

This training was excellent from beginning to end with thorough theoretical information followed up by practical discussion and examples. The instructor was personable and clearly presented the topic with a high level of expertise. This training will be invaluable to therapists working with children presenting with selective mutism.

This is my second attendance of this program and each time I learn something new. The information each presenter brings is full of great connection pieces, conceptualization components, and fun. It is easily accessible, understandable, and thorough. Thankful to have found this program and that I have been able to attend.

The 2021 play therapy conference was a wonderful experience! It had many practical interventions to utilize during our therapeutic sessions. I loved the multicultural aspect of different presenters from around the world. I am looking forward to future trainings.

This was a great training. It provided an over view of Humanistic psychology and how to integrate suicide assessment. A must have!

This trainer is highly skilled, experienced, engaging and effective presenter. This was a highly informative training on termination, leaving clinicians with multiple specific tools and interventions to faciliate more effective termination with the children and families they serve. I found this training to be very helpful in my clinical work with children and their families.

I really enjoyed learning about IFS and how to integrate it into my practice with couples as well as individuals. IFS contains a lot of what I have been looking for in addressing how we can release ourselves from the pain of our pasts and heal from those childhood hurts and trauma that impact us all. The presentation was straightforward, concise and informative. It left me feeling like this is something that I can do and be good at. I look forward to advanced training in this area.

I love this world wide training on real world practices for therapist with various backgrounds and across cultural differences. Real techniques, simple to use, and effective for reaching children and even adults. Liana Loweinstein is a gem and model what we need in such a tremendously confusing Pandemic life to help families adapt. This Training is Current and needed across the world! Thanks for this!

A very high level of competence and command over a very large breadth and depth of material, that's not at all strictly "textbook" knowledge, or too "clinical." Lots of grounded, real-world application and examples, along with plenty of insights, implications, and tips, that are clearly from actual experience, and typically not found in the textbooks or academic settings.

The training was informative, useful, and interactive. There were a lot of ideas given for interventions that I will implement in my work with kids. I wasn't sure about this training when I signed up since I don't typically address client's dreams very often but the training ended up giving me ideas of ways I could incorporate the information into my current work. 

The presenter was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the topic, as well as engaging with the participants despite it being through webinar (vs in person). This course helped to normalize the prevalence and symptoms of trauma. As a clinician, I am now aware that many of my clients may come in with traumas, however "big' or "small" they are to the client. I appreciate the suggestions for intervention.

I have taken a few CEU's from Core wellness now and I am always impressed by the ease of registering and the knowledge and material of the presenters! Highly recommended.

I learned so much as a student!! Play therapy is an area that I am now very interested in and I appreciated this conference's tangible skills I can apply immediately!!

I though the training was very informative and presented very well. The information was clear and to the point. Thank you for providing this course.

Presenter was clear and concise. Distinction between the various diagnoses in DSM of Bipolar were quite helpful. She used many examples from her own practice and research which was quite impressive. The time allotted could have been increased, but due to the short nature, I was able to return to my workday without interruption. Her resources are great and I am planning to purchase the workbooks that she recommended. I am looking forward to next week's training as well.

I really enjoyed this session. It offered practical interventions in a fun way. I love when I leave a session feeling like I have another idea in my toolbag.

I thought the training presented many useful activities for therapists to use across all ages. I work with children ages 5-14 so it was helpful to have activities that could be used with each of age group.

This training was great and helpful for new play therapists. I have recently completed my training in the mist of the pandemic and having additional resources during this time has been so helpful.

Liana always provides a consistent and thorough training. The experiential activities are wonderful and enhance the learning experience.

Excellent training that walks you step-by-step through the process of working with children who are SM. It provides a framework and ideas for moving from one stage to the next.

I found the information extremely helpful. Some of the children I work with have severe behavioral issues and are working on increasing their focus beyond 30 seconds; as such, not all of the techniques were relevant for my client demographic. But where applicable, the lessons here have been effective, particular with children who experience anxiety, lack interpersonal skills, and who experience symptoms of trauma disorders and attachment disorders. Some of the presenters gave useful, fresh ideas for telehealth with children.

It was the quickest three hour training I have ever been to. I was sad to have it end. It was wonderful to see so many unique techniques from all over the world. And, even more wonderful to find new ways to held the children that I work with.

Loved the 3 c's method! Very informative and concise information relevant to clinical practice.

This training was approachable and skillfully presented. I found myself walking away with a higher understanding of translating case conceptualization to treatment planning through the framework of the therapeutic powers of play. Although the trainer come from a very different theoretical background then myself I think she did a truly wonderful job exploring treatment planning from a variety of approaches which I found very helpful!
