Home Study Course Description
Join us for this thought provoking and interactive training, where therapists will learn about the foundations of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and how to implement a new set of tools and techniques in effectively treating clients. Therapists will learn the theoretic framework of ACT, the foundations of the model as well as practical application in session. Clinicians will understand how ACT differs from other modalities and with which clients and issues it can most effectively treat. Clinicians will be given hands on activities, interventions and exercises to perform with clients in order to implement and teach strategies of ACT to their clients. The training will use handouts, videos, visual aids and interactive activities to demonstrate ideas and keep participants captivated, thinking and learning.
