Home Study Course Description

In this engaging and interactive training, therapists, social workers, MFTs and psychologists will learn about the ten most common ethical issues that arise in the workplace. This course is designed to fulfill the requirement of 3 CEU hours of ethics training for social workers. Learn about defining ethical questions, preventative measures, ACA decision making model, NASW ethics. Learn about assessing risks, implementing changes and dealing with challenges that arise in each part of therapy. The workshop will focus on intake and session issues, therapy questions that arise, dual relationships, transference, technology risks and benefits and providing resources to clients.
Learning Objectives: Participants will learn and practice ethical-decision making models to help prevent and stop ethical issues from arising.
3 Category II/B CEU awarded by Core Wellness, a Maryland Social Work Examiners approved CE sponsor. Our credits are accepted by the Maryland Boards of Psychology and Professional Counselors and Therapists as well as the social work boards of DC, Virginia, WV and Michigan.
