Ms. Lynn Louise Wonders is a very knowledge and experienced play therapist who provides informative information, playful interventions, and recourses regard to the issue of GAD in clinical practice when working with children and adolescents to facilitate the participant’s professional learning and growth.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and presented the topic of addressing the complex issues of teens in a very engaging and clear manner, I would be interested in taking another course with the instructor.

I really appreciated the instructor's knowledge and style of presenting material. It is often easy to get distracted or lost in webinars but Lynn was engaging and the content remained applicable and interesting throughout. It was a great mix of looking at symptoms, assessment, treatment, parent communication, resource sharing, etc.

All three presenters had great information and a broad knowledge base. I am always pleased to walk away with usable and valid techniques and ideas. I will be recommending this site to colleagues for future CE's and trainings.

This is a great intro training to Bipolar D/O. It goes through all of the criteria for the different diagnosis, episodes, psychotic features etc. It's clear and the instructor does a good job mixing in her experience working with individuals with BD along side describing the illness.

This training was absolutely exceptional. I loved all of it. From the resources to share with parents, the assessment and treatment plan ideas, to the examples from her own practice. Further to that also sharing the many resources and developmentally fitting strategies that she has spent much time learning about and then creating herself as well. Expressive Arts Webinar was a great training full of creative expressive interventions to use with clients of all ages.

Short presentations from experts around the world kept me engaged and excited to try out these new techniques in my practice.

The presenter was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the topic, as well as engaging with the participants despite it being through webinar (vs in person). This course helped to normalize the prevalence and symptoms of trauma. As a clinician, I am now aware that many of my clients may come in with traumas, however "big' or "small" they are to the client. I appreciate the suggestions for intervention.

This was an excellent training, I learned so much and especially benefited from ways to include parents at each step of TF-CBT. I always look forward to her trainings!

Batsheva was very organized, clearly well-prepared, and had lots of great personal stories and examples to make sense of her strategies. I appreciated that Batsheva did not dive into the basics of CBT, as this is geared towards an intermediate level, and focused on sharing concrete strategies. Dr. Kurtz was extremely knowledgeable, but did a wonderful job making the audience feel as though we could take these skills to our own practice. Sometimes overly complicated trainings leave you feeling less capable but that was 100% not the case here.

Sueann Kenney-Noziska and Liana Lowenstein provided so much insight on how to facilitate a strong supervisory experience and how best to meet supervisee's where they are at in their professional and educational training. I appreciated the variety of interventions and techniques that could be adapted with client's and families as well as with supervisee's. The handouts and examples are wonderful and super helpful! I appreciated how they engaged the audience during the presentation and allowed for feedback and other's to participate or share experiences. The role playing was helpful to listen to as well. This was a very engaging, fun, and valuable training to listen to!. I would definitely recommend!

This was a great training that validates the Prescriptive way of practicing the art of therapy. This was a great course and really interesting. Super informative and gave a great understanding of the foundations of hypnotherapy as well as the techniques involved with its use.

The training was precise and detailed with creative techniques to use in practice. The instructor was easy to understand and organized; maintained my attention for the length of the training.

I really enjoyed learning about IFS and how to integrate it into my practice with couples as well as individuals. IFS contains a lot of what I have been looking for in addressing how we can release ourselves from the pain of our pasts and heal from those childhood hurts and trauma that impact us all. The presentation was straightforward, concise and informative. It left me feeling like this is something that I can do and be good at. I look forward to advanced training in this area.

This was a great training on Positive Psychology. While most of us probably use components of this model, it was nice to learn more helpful strategies and interventions to use with clients.

This training was approachable and skillfully presented. I found myself walking away with a higher understanding of translating case conceptualization to treatment planning through the framework of the therapeutic powers of play. Although the trainer come from a very different theoretical background then myself I think she did a truly wonderful job exploring treatment planning from a variety of approaches which I found very helpful!

As a clinical psychologist and Registered Play Therapist I have had decades of training and taken countless seminars. Lynn Louise Wonders' 20 Play Therapy Interventions for Anxiety with Older Children was a delightful surprise. Her enthusiasm and deep understanding of what it takes to engage this sometimes difficult age group by using creative and engaging strategies is the best I have ever seen. The strategies were indeed creative yet presented with succinct clarity and straightforward instructions. Sometimes these seminars can be tedious at the end of which one wonders what of this will I actually use, but every strategy she taught made intuitive sense for the play therapy process and was easy to grasp. I eager to try them. At the end, she presents several short well done psycho-educational videos that could be used directly with our clients and sprinkles the entire presentation with resources. Best online interactive training I have had. I usually try to go in person but this training makes me rethink my option of online trainings. I felt more involved than I have been in some in person trainings. The presenter was very knowledgeable and engaging.

I really found this training to meet all the objectives it laid out. It not only affirmed some of the things I already knew, but it also provided me with new language to present to my clients and parents in how to understand anger and emotion dysregulation. The instructors were clear in their explanations and provided really great hands-on play therapy techniques for real-world scenarios.

This was a great presentation with lots of tips to take to the client. Understanding how we can change our physiology and how we can translate that to our clients is amazing!

I'm happy I attended the course. I learned a lot of tools and innovative resources to engage children online. It is hard to plan and try to retain the focus of children through a monitor, but the techniques and ideas provided are fun, and children love fun. If they do not feel like it is a session or exercise, they will look forward to meeting the counselor weekly or during the scheduled time. The facilitator did a great job giving examples and including attendees to participate. Although I was in the crowd, she made me feel like a happy kid in the session. She does an amazing job with her tone, occasional smiles and making the attendees feel welcome. I will use some of what I learned today and apply it to my practice.

This training on school refusal was so helpful and practical. Instructor Lynn Louise Wonders shared a wealth of knowledge of what could be happening for a child as well as provided different theoretical responses that can be used to work with children and families as they work through the challenges of such. Lynn also provided several valuable resources that can be used and purchased when working with such families. I found the training to be extremely helpful and tactile. I would strongly recommend this training to anyone who is considering taking such.

Excellent training that walks you step-by-step through the process of working with children who are SM. It provides a framework and ideas for moving from one stage to the next.

The instructor presented the topic of tackling trauma in play therapy in an engaging and very clear manner, explaining concepts such as the use of touch in play therapy, and it’s pros and cons as well as other interventions that can best help children experiencing trauma navigate the inevitable issues that arise.

The Playborhood is a fantastic training. I came away with immediate and relevant interventions to use with children and families both in person or via telehealth. I now can breath fresh content into my teletherapy sessions with very useful prescriptive techniques from play therapists from all over the world.

This was a fabulous training! There is really nothing I like more than extremely intelligent people that have an idea to share that is simple and effective. 

Play Therapy Treatment Planning training was informative and educative. It created a baseline for understanding and for future acquisition of knowledge and practice of case conceptualization and treatment planning itself. Presenter was clear and concise. Distinction between the various diagnoses in DSM of Bipolar were quite helpful. She used many examples from her own practice and research which was quite impressive. The time allotted could have been increased, but due to the short nature, I was able to return to my workday without interruption. Her resources are great and I am planning to purchase the workbooks that she recommended. I am looking forward to next week's training as well.

I had studied DBT some, but never in relation to a Bipolar diagnosis. The techniques and considerations given were very helpful! Treating the person and the coping behavior, rather than their diagnosis as a definition of who they are is an amazing lens to learn from! These techniques can help anyone with Bipolar, their loved ones, or anyone experiencing life stressors. Sheri was very easy to listen to and the time flew by.

I absolutely LOVED how the therapeutic process was likened to a journey and the activities all reflected this theme from assessment through to termination, and how creative the options were. This was well worth my time and money! Amazing!

I enjoyed learning from 3 different therapists and different aspects of the topic. The training focused on all involved in the therapy process - the therapist, child client, and the client’s caregivers. I appreciated being able to learn more about the topic of emotion regulation and how to incorporate it into practice with the kiddos I work with, their caregivers, and how to address my own internal states in working with my clients.

Liana is always engaging from the very beginning of the training. Totally wonderful!

She presented it in a clear and concise manner without minimizing any of the material. I loved the case vignettes and actual dialogue examples that she gave.

This is a useful training, and definitely helps to increase the viewer's understanding of the development of different play therapy models and approaches.

I really liked all the videos! It was great all around. I learned how to hear, empathize and communicate with couples effectively. The 10 points to focus on when working with couples. Also, communication and empathy is key.

Wonderful presentation. The presenter was very knowledgeable and made the topic interesting.

I found the information extremely helpful. Some of the children I work with have severe behavioral issues and are working on increasing their focus beyond 30 seconds; as such, not all of the techniques were relevant for my client demographic. But where applicable, the lessons here have been effective, particular with children who experience anxiety, lack interpersonal skills, and who experience symptoms of trauma disorders and attachment disorders. Some of the presenters gave useful, fresh ideas for telehealth with children.

I really liked the Sexual Trauma Healing Program. I think it is a good structure. I also appreciate Dr. Tropper's explanation for asking questions regarding drinking and other addictive habits, as clients may not be upfront about their use.

All presenters were knowledgeable, helpful, and modeled wonderful skills.

I found this training to be very current and useful. I have been working with children with OCD for some time, however, I learned a lot of new information and interventions I can use with children and their families. The slides were also very helpful.

Before attending this training, I was uncertain about the therapeutic value of some games and which ones to include in the playroom, so I now have another tool for my kit. The instructor was very knowledgeable, and a great reflection on how she has incorporated games, into her sessions with children, the dialogue that can take place during gameplay was also very useful.

What an amazing training! Dr. Treisman was able to articulate advanced concepts in a way that was easy to understand and applicable to my client cases. Dr. Treisman's concept of allowing the client to define "calming" for them is a game-changer and one that needs to be incorporated in all trauma-focused trainings.

I think the trainers style was pleasant, she was very knowledgeable, and was very engaging with the other individuals during the training.

This training is a great way to get the hours required by APT for seminal and historical theories in play therapy for the RPT certification. It is thorough and concise.

This is a great course on grief. It goes over the different models to use in sessions and discusses so many different aspects of grief. The instructor is fantastic, very thorough and organized!

This training made me want to continue working with children. As a clinician that has a range of clients, I felt defeated in working with children because the classic clinical talk therapy is too advanced for children. This training showed me how to help children process trauma and work on necessary goals through play and art in an interactive and practical way. The instructor was fabulous, highly reccomend.

This was an excellent training that pulled from many diverse backgrounds that I would have probably never known about or experienced. I would highly recommend this to others and would love to make this an annual event.

Ms. Liana Lowenstein, is a very knowledge and experienced play therapist and mental health professional who provides informative professional information, playful interventions, and recourses regard to working with children and adolescents to facilitate the participant’s professional learning and growth.

I thought the instructor was knowledgeable, but the training would have been more beneficial if there were more interventions that didn't require buying a lot of supplies. Also, I would have liked to see interventions that were simpler and would not take up the entire session or multiple sessions. Plus, things that are less messy would have been helpful because in my setting I don't have a sink nearby to wash up messes from paint or slime.

This training is great at identifying and explaining roles a supervisor may take with new supervisees, both in general and specific to play therapy.

Lots of us helping professionals were suddenly faced with the challenge of moving a lot of our work online due to the pandemic. There is no doubt that engaging children online is often more challenging than in-person and it can be hard to find new online interventions at times. Good examples and directions for activities. I found it particularly heplful l in beginning a new practice that may include working with children and how to engage them in a virtual experience.

This training balances emphasis on the basics of online therapy with children and specific and useful interventions that can be done via telehealth with children. The interventions provided can be used with a wide array of focus/concentration abilities and a variety of symptoms/diagnoses. They are both fun to help with engagement, and grounding to help with kids who are easily amped up or dysregulated by physically active interventions. I appreciate the variety of interventions and that many of them can be implemented both via telehealth and in person.

  The information provided in the training about the historical court cases that have led us to the current place we are with rights for children, parents and families was incredible. I'm not much of a history person but I thoroughly enjoyed learning about those cases.

I always look forward to this training. I take away skills I can use immediately with the clients that I serve.

This was most probably the best course I've attended in a long while. It was jam packed with simple but really effective ideas that can be used with a range of clients, children, young people and even adults in both individual work and group/family therapy work. As a pre-licensed therapist, I learned so much about Sand Tray therapy, but also play therapy in general, and various seminal theories (theoretical orientations) that can inform my practice. This is my second year of attending the webinar for Playborhood. I enjoyed all of the presenters and the activities that they presented in 2021 that I was excited to see what was in store for 2022. I really enjoyed every presentation. Usually in participation of such productions I can gain an idea or two. But with this presentation I took every idea presented and will be able to use it in my work!!!!

I was able to immediately start using what I learned in training with my client that was scheduled after the training. She was very interested in the mood chart and I will definitely be exploring the various resources the instructor provided. I liked her own case examples, her use of resources and comfort level with the population she spoke about.

The course can be useful to daycare providers, foster care parents and anyone in a caregiver role. What I likes the most s was how to predict good behavior before it begins. To indirectly tell a child the behavior you want them to do. And also the empowering piece by saying “oh you know how to make a plan to get the game.”

Dr. Kurtz's training on treating selective mutism was one of the best I've attended in a long time. I was impressed by his knowledge and experience. His humor and humility allowed me to feel a sense of connection.

I appreciated this training because it made the concept of regulation more accessible and reinforced the importance of taking the discovery of regulation slowly and without rushing. I feel so often the therapeutic process can feel rushed and I think the reminder of spending a lot of time with developing these skills with clients is huge.

Ms. Lynn Louise Wonders is knowledgeable play therapist, provides a basic foundation for seminal and historical play therapy theories, and offers a helpful PPT to facilitate the participant’s professional learning.

Very informative presentation, with applicable techniques which can easily be incorporated into client sessions. Instructor was very knowledgeable on the subject matter, and comfortably answered questions throughout.

There were many new techniques presented today that I feel I want to add to my toolbox and begin implementing with my kiddos.

Sitting on Zoom for two days covering theory and content can be tough, but not with this course! Dr. April is amazing. She organized and delivered this training in a way that kept me tuned in, engaged, and wanting more. She magically created a safe learning environment (VIRTUALLY, WOW!) that allowed participants to relax into her process, to ask general and individualized questions, and in the end, to feel capable of implementing sand tray therapy today! I can hardly wait! I hope to have Dr. April's skillset one day- she's inspiring.

This training was much more than I expected! I learned so many fresh techniques, how to process through them with clients, and can start using them immediately.

There were so many interesting techniques that I heard about during this training. It was great to hear from so many experts and to learn about so many different techniques used with children, teens and families. I am not doing direct therapy right now but thought it would be interesting to hear about some of the techniques that are being used. It was very enlightening. Please continue to offer this training.

I enjoyed this training. The deeper dynamics of working with seasoned clinicians was timely as I begin working with independently licensed counselors working toward their RPT.

The most useful concepts I learned from this PD were thinking about EDs largely as experiential avoidance and the importance of providing positive feedback from food logs due to the shame factor.

The format of this training was wonderful. We got to hear from several practitioners all over the world who practice with children and families. I gathered several techniques and methods that I will certainly be using within my therapy space with clients. All presenters were easy to listen to and very knowledgeable of their content. This is the most in-depth webinar presentation I have attended so far in my career as a mental health professional. I came in to this workshop not knowing much on the topic but walking away with in depth knowledge about imposter syndrome that I can immediately apply in my professional work with clients struggling with this issue.

This training was so beneficial and informative; I honestly wish that it was longer and could be expanded for a couple days or even an entire week! All of the presenters were experienced, knowledgeable, and provided practical interventions for use with children and adults. Excellent course covering the gamut of ethical considerations that arise in telehealth practice and provides concrete and practical tools for the delivery of services.

The instructor was engaged, funny and knew the material well. Her examples are very helpful, and I appreciate her using examples about her personal life to drive points home. I could resonate with her examples, and she allowed the class to provide examples as well.

The training today was so impressive! To be able to hear from Play Therapists from around the world on the techniques that they use in practice was so helpful. We are all over the world and yet we are the same, doing the same work, and changing lives for the better. Brilliant!

I thought this was fantastic. I appreciated the presenter's enthusiasm and I really enjoyed her context. She gave direct techniques to immediately put into practice. I can walk into a session tonight and be prepared with new ideas from Liana. I love the "dot on my screen if you agree". I work in a high school so this would be great activity the students can use on Jamboard.

I thought this training was well-prepared and skillfully presented. I was engaged and learned about a lot of new activities I can use in treating kids and teens in my own practice.

The instructors were extremely knowledgeable! Grounded in theory, the interventions shared were extremely applicable to practice immediately. All of the instructors were fantastic at giving you the confidence to implement these great new resources.

  This workshop was refreshing and informative. The resources and lessons provided will be utilized in my practice. We can all be reminded to lean in to be with our clients rather than above them.

I really enjoyed this course, and though there were a couple of small hang-ups with Zoom, I thought that the virtual training worked pretty well. It was helpful to learn more of the fundamentals of mindfulness, and to learn some exercises and techniques that can be used with clients. Would love to participate in a follow-up training with some case examples! Great training, and would recommend to others.

This was an excellent training. As a supervisor who has been in the field for many years, I usually take trainings as a requirement and feel a bit of dread when hearing the same themes over and over again. This training was different! I really enjoyed it. Thank you for providing a training that presented a fresh framework and new spin on analyzing and labeling supervisee and supervisor development.

This training was motivating as Shlomo shared the information with authenticity and passion for the Imago model. I gained a true understanding that Imago Therapy is a model that promotes connection within the space between where couples often don't spend safe and quality time strengthening their relationships. The introduction course demonstrated this well and leaves a yerning to receive advanced knowledge. I truly believe Imago is a game-changer and can offer stonger connections not only between romantic partners, but other dyadic relationships.

The information Dr. Deliberto prepared for this one hour course was exceptionally organized with handouts that followed and supported her presentation. I learned very relevant and helpful strategies and explainations that will help me be more thorough in the work I do with clients who struggle with eating disorders and/or disordered eating behaviors.
