The presenter presented the course on talking to children and adults about crisis, particularly in this crisis age of COVID, in a very clear and currently appropriate manner. He provided developmentally appropriate techniques to use with varying age groups facing crisis.

It was the quickest three hour training I have ever been to. I was sad to have it end. It was wonderful to see so many unique techniques from all over the world. And, even more wonderful to find new ways to held the children that I work with.

The instructor presented the topic of child protection versus parental rights, and subsequently child right, and grandparent rights in a very interesting and engaging manner. She gave a thorough lesson of how various court cases have shaped these rights over time. Ethics and law in therapy is not always the most engaging topic and yet I found the topic/course fascinating and am curious to take similar courses given by this instructor in the future.

This training was more than I could have expected, and I had high expectations! The presenters imparted so much incredible knowledge and different techniques and interventions. The format and technology of the training was engaging and well executed. I can't wait to sign up for another training!

I have attended many of Liana's trainings and they are always excellent. She presents a good mix of theory and interventions that I can use in my practice. I use many of her intervention books and they are top notch.

A truly helpful resource to a clinician who encounters disordered eating at a variety of levels. Easy to understand and includes practical interventions to utilize in practice as well as helpful information for when increased or medical treatment is necessary.

This felt like a good overview of the theory behind mindfulness as well as the practical application of techniques/skills to use with clients. The visual aids, examples, and videos were especially useful.

Presenter was clear and concise. Distinction between the various diagnoses in DSM of Bipolar were quite helpful. She used many examples from her own practice and research which was quite impressive. The time allotted could have been increased, but due to the short nature, I was able to return to my workday without interruption. Her resources are great and I am planning to purchase the workbooks that she recommended. I am looking forward to next week's training as well.

This course is a gem. I learned so much from it about working effectively with couples from IFS perspective. Dr. Tropper is a very knowledgeable and engaging presenter. This workshop is a must for therapists who work with couples.

CORE CE is always educational and beneficial for me. I am able to interact with other clinicians around the country and find out what the best practices are currently.

  The information provided in the training about the historical court cases that have led us to the current place we are with rights for children, parents and families was incredible. I'm not much of a history person but I thoroughly enjoyed learning about those cases.

This course is a great introduction into the foundations of trauma. It synthesizes key details from the works of trauma experts Peter Levin and Bessel van deer Kolk, and offers ways for clinicians to expand their treatment efficacy with effective treatment modalities.

This training was wonderful. I learned a variety of ways to incorporate dreams into my practice with youth and families. The instructor touched on how to get caregivers involved, how to help the youth communicate their dreams, and ways to be a safe container for nightmares.

I had studied DBT some, but never in relation to a Bipolar diagnosis. The techniques and considerations given were very helpful! Treating the person and the coping behavior, rather than their diagnosis as a definition of who they are is an amazing lens to learn from! These techniques can help anyone with Bipolar, their loved ones, or anyone experiencing life stressors. Sheri was very easy to listen to and the time flew by.

The training was informative, useful, and interactive. There were a lot of ideas given for interventions that I will implement in my work with kids. I wasn't sure about this training when I signed up since I don't typically address client's dreams very often but the training ended up giving me ideas of ways I could incorporate the information into my current work. 

The instructor was very knowledgeable and presented the material in an engaging manner explaining how to help out clients to work through sexual trauma and grief and providing concrete interventions we can use in our own sessions with clients.

The course can be useful to daycare providers, foster care parents and anyone in a caregiver role. What I likes the most s was how to predict good behavior before it begins. To indirectly tell a child the behavior you want them to do. And also the empowering piece by saying “oh you know how to make a plan to get the game.”

This is a useful training, and definitely helps to increase the viewer's understanding of the development of different play therapy models and approaches.

This training was outstanding! I learned so much on how to approach NSSI with teens. This is a topic of great value as there are a lot of teens who engage in NSSI and this course provides a clear structure on how to approach and help these individuals and families.

The training was great! I loved how straight to the point it was and contained so much useful information. The presenter was well informed and prepared as the entire hour did not go to waste. Would highly recommend this training to others.

I'm happy I attended the course. I learned a lot of tools and innovative resources to engage children online. It is hard to plan and try to retain the focus of children through a monitor, but the techniques and ideas provided are fun, and children love fun. If they do not feel like it is a session or exercise, they will look forward to meeting the counselor weekly or during the scheduled time. The facilitator did a great job giving examples and including attendees to participate. Although I was in the crowd, she made me feel like a happy kid in the session. She does an amazing job with her tone, occasional smiles and making the attendees feel welcome. I will use some of what I learned today and apply it to my practice.

Both instructors presented the material on enuresis and encopresis in a very informative and engaging manner. I learned applicable techniques I can use with clients (and with my own child’s bed wetting issues) such as creating a visual bathroom map to better help a child that is dealing with this issue.

This training was tremendously useful. I always walk away from away from Ms. Hartstein's trainings with tons of new ideas and this was no exception. Today my notes include 60 interventions that I can use with my clients, and I'm so excited to try them out! I also love how she weaves together a variety of play therapy modalities -- her training is focused on CBT but includes dramatic play, music, games, art, role play, narrative tools, bibliotherapy, and more. I highly recommend this training!

This course helped to normalize the prevalence and symptoms of trauma. As a clinician, I am now aware that many of my clients may come in with traumas, however "big' or "small" they are to the client. I appreciate the suggestions for intervention.

The instructor presented the topic of tackling trauma in play therapy in an engaging and very clear manner, explaining concepts such as the use of touch in play therapy, and it’s pros and cons as well as other interventions that can best help children experiencing trauma navigate the inevitable issues that arise.

This training was great and helpful for new play therapists. I have recently completed my training in the mist of the pandemic and having additional resources during this time has been so helpful.

Treating trauma is an essential skill in therapy and this training by Dr. Joseph Trapper are helping me gain this skill in my work.

This course was helpful in recognizing signs and symptoms of trauma, understanding how trauma affects areas of the brain, and brief overview of modalities to help address maladaptive coping mechanisms during therapeutic sessions.

Dr. Kurtz was extremely knowledgeable, but did a wonderful job making the audience feel as though we could take these skills to our own practice. Sometimes overly complicated trainings leave you feeling less capable but that was 100% not the case here.

There were so many interesting techniques that I heard about during this training. It was great to hear from so many experts and to learn about so many different techniques used with children, teens and families. I am not doing direct therapy right now but thought it would be interesting to hear about some of the techniques that are being used. It was very enlightening. Please continue to offer this training.

She is an incredibly skilled practitioner who is able to convey the model in a comprehensive, engaging manner. Her care and compassion for clients shines through and underpins the rationale for utilizing the model. She is an incredible role model.

This training made me want to continue working with children. As a clinician that has a range of clients, I felt defeated in working with children because the classic clinical talk therapy is too advanced for children. This training showed me how to help children process trauma and work on necessary goals through play and art in an interactive and practical way. The instructor was fabulous, highly reccomend.

A fantastic brief overview of eating disorders that is not negative towards different body types and recognizes how to treat clients experiencing EDs of all types. Offered many different clinical interventions as well as when to make the decision to refer to higher levels of care.

I loved this training! This is my second time doing this training and would do it again. Along time ago I went to a training on sexual abuse with children from Liana Lowenstein and received a lot of good information. I certainly would go to another training in the future.

This was an informative training with great techniques to use in therapy sessions with children and their families. There is a good discussion of the rationale behind the techniques as well as how they can be modified.

Lots of us helping professionals were suddenly faced with the challenge of moving a lot of our work online due to the pandemic. There is no doubt that engaging children online is often more challenging than in-person and it can be hard to find new online interventions at times. I liked the examples that were provided throughout so that participants could really see the strategies in practice, I also enjoyed Liana asking additional questions to presenters especially in how to prompt a client when using the different tools. April Duncan's knowledge and skills were so impressive and her style very engaging. I work with seniors, but I felt drawn into this course and eager to try this type of therapy with my clientele.

Very practical and informative workshop I enjoyed and learned a lot from.

As a new therapist in my first few years before I can be clinically licensed these trainings are amazing. Being able to learn from experienced clinicians makes me feel more competent in my practice. This training gave me real life application that I can use and feel better prepared.

I thought the instructor was knowledgeable, but the training would have been more beneficial if there were more interventions that didn't require buying a lot of supplies. Also, I would have liked to see interventions that were simpler and would not take up the entire session or multiple sessions. Plus, things that are less messy would have been helpful because in my setting I don't have a sink nearby to wash up messes from paint or slime.

I thought this training was very useful and I can't wait to implement some of the games for kids. The instructor was clear and understandable.

I really appreciate the language used and attention paid to describing and connecting some important key elements of DBT. I picked up some new and meaningful ways to have conversations with the middle school-aged DBT group I facilitate.

This provided clinicians with a whole new way to address anger in the therapy setting. Especially on learning how to meet the child or adolescent on their level. Developing a non-reactive approach to their behaviors and getting into deeper reasons why the anger was expressed in this manner.

This training was extremely helpful for me. I have been in the field for 2 years, so I'm fairly new at therapy. I enjoyed learning different interventions that would help improve the work I do with kids.

This training was approachable and skillfully presented. I found myself walking away with a higher understanding of translating case conceptualization to treatment planning through the framework of the therapeutic powers of play. Although the trainer come from a very different theoretical background then myself I think she did a truly wonderful job exploring treatment planning from a variety of approaches which I found very helpful!

Dr. Kurtz's training on treating selective mutism was one of the best I've attended in a long time. I was impressed by his knowledge and experience. His humor and humility allowed me to feel a sense of connection.

I was so impressed by this training! The knowledge of the instructor really helped me grasp how trauma shows up in the experiences of the clients I work with, and I felt like I was learning things I could apply in my practice even today.

The instructor was very knowledgeable about the legal and ethical implications about being a mandated reporter for child abuse. This difficult topic was presented in a caring, interesting, and comprehensive manner giving participants the tools and confidence needed to address such concerns if they arise in our own practices.

This was a great training with well-informed, thoughtful instruction from Lynn Louise Wonders and several (video) guest speakers. It was nice to have an instructor realize her own limitations as a white woman and invite guest speakers to present on their lived experiences.

This is a great intro training to Bipolar D/O. It goes through all of the criteria for the different diagnosis, episodes, psychotic features etc. It's clear and the instructor does a good job mixing in her experience working with individuals with BD along side describing the illness.

This was a great training that validates the Prescriptive way of practicing the art of therapy. This is a great course on grief. It goes over the different models to use in sessions and discusses so many different aspects of grief. The instructor is fantastic, very thorough and organized!

The format of this training was wonderful. We got to hear from several practitioners all over the world who practice with children and families. I gathered several techniques and methods that I will certainly be using within my therapy space with clients. All presenters were easy to listen to and very knowledgeable of their content. This training was amazing. It helped me understand the foundations of play therapy and how it all connects. I usually don't do well with learning history, but this training kept my attention and focus. I feel excited and encouraged to continue to learn about play therapy theories, models, and interventions.

I enjoyed learning from 3 different therapists and different aspects of the topic. The training focused on all involved in the therapy process - the therapist, child client, and the client’s caregivers. I appreciated being able to learn more about the topic of emotion regulation and how to incorporate it into practice with the kiddos I work with, their caregivers, and how to address my own internal states in working with my clients.

I really enjoyed learning about IFS and how to integrate it into my practice with couples as well as individuals. IFS contains a lot of what I have been looking for in addressing how we can release ourselves from the pain of our pasts and heal from those childhood hurts and trauma that impact us all. The presentation was straightforward, concise and informative. It left me feeling like this is something that I can do and be good at. I look forward to advanced training in this area.

This training was incredibly helpful. I received an overview of helpful therapies and resources to learn more and receive certifications in those therapies. With certain therapy styles, I've learned enough today to get started with clients if I wanted. I learned so many informative techniques to use with clients and plan to implement in my session this evening. I appreciated that the techniques were diverse and catered to the needs and mindsets of clients at varying points of the healing process and with different preferred healing and learning modalities.

This training was excellent is teaching child clinicians about this common but little known childhood challenge. I liked the history, the interventions, and the encouragement that parents need to be involved.

I really enjoyed the discussion of defense mechanisms and games. I especially liked learning about mind masking, a useful technique that we as therapists should master.

This is a fantastic introduction into DBT. The facilitator was experienced and knowledgeable and gave examples of how to implement the strategies of DBT that can be used immediately with clients.

I think that this training was very informative. It offered a number of different interventions with clear examples that were specific to the work of children's mental health. I also love how there were presentations from different cultures. It demonstrated that diversity is so important with working with kiddos and allowed for a safe space for the therapists as well!

I absolutely loved this Playborhood training! I loved hearing all the different ideas that people from across the world had. I especially enjoyed how these activities covered several different types of theoretical orientations as well, meaning that there was something for every therapist who attended regardless of their theoretical orientation. Although this is a dry subject area, the presenter was knowledgeable and interactive, thus aiding in the assimilation of information.

She presented detailed instruction on evidence based psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral treatment for insomnia as well as associated treatments and strategies to best help our clients (and even ourselves) struggling with insomnia.

I found this training to be very current and useful. I have been working with children with OCD for some time, however, I learned a lot of new information and interventions I can use with children and their families. The slides were also very helpful.

This training exceeded my expectations. As a pre-licensed therapist, I learned so much about Sand Tray therapy, but also play therapy in general, and various seminal theories (theoretical orientations) that can inform my practice. I walked away feeling confident in implementing sand tray therapy with clients. Dr. April is clearly knowledgeable, and is a skilled therapist, as well as presenter - she made the training fun, authentic and engaging (even as someone that watched the recorded session). I appreciated this training because it made the concept of regulation more accessible and reinforced the importance of taking the discovery of regulation slowly and without rushing. As a clinician, I was so grateful to find this course. My graduate studies did not prepare me for treating eating disorders. This material has been informative and timely.

The training was unique in that it brought together perspectives and interventions from around the world, and I loved the sense of connection present in this webinar.

This class was awesome - very interesting and informative.

These three trainers topics really complemented each other, all were great speakers. I really enjoyed this workshop and learned a great deal.

This training was amazing!! Full of so many wonderful activities that are versatile to use either in individual or family therapy, and also most can be used via telehealth.

Presenter was very knowledgeable, a little low energy. Part of that is due to video format I think.

This was straightforward, useful, and easy to follow. I don't directly work with many trafficking victims, but still found the information useful to be aware of.

This training on school refusal was so helpful and practical. Instructor Lynn Louise Wonders shared a wealth of knowledge of what could be happening for a child as well as provided different theoretical responses that can be used to work with children and families as they work through the challenges of such. Lynn also provided several valuable resources that can be used and purchased when working with such families. I found the training to be extremely helpful and tactile. I would strongly recommend this training to anyone who is considering taking such.

Lynn provides a cohesive and well presented overview of the IDM and DM models and how they can be utilized with experienced supervisees. I highly recommend your investment of time in this training.

I loved the modeling and permission to be creative in the work we do. There are no wrong ways. Just lessons learned.

The most useful concepts I learned from this PD were thinking about EDs largely as experiential avoidance and the importance of providing positive feedback from food logs due to the shame factor.

This training should be mandatory for all graduates and all therapists. Why was I not taught about trauma? All my clients need these interventions. 

This is a good approach to dealing with various forms of Anxiety, especially tailored towards COVID-19 situation is especially helpful.

I truly enjoyed learning from so many experts in the field of play therapy. I plan to incorporate several of these techniques into my work with children. I found the handouts to be very helpful as well, and I know that I will be referring back to them frequently! Thank you for making this training available!

The information was clear and thorough and explained the relevant concerns and how to address them and teach sexuality in a healthy way. The instructor was very knowledgeable and engaging.

I love how engaging she is and all the playful and creative ways she uses to teach and reinforce CBT theory and concepts. She is very skilled and knowledgeable and the training was entertaining and creative. I normally lose focus in trainings this long but she kept me on my toes the entire time. I look forward to viewing a lot more of her trainings.

Ms. Liana Lowenstein is a very knowledge and experienced play therapist who provides informative information, playful interventions, and recourses regard to the common issues in clinical practice when working with children and adolescents to facilitate the participant’s professional learning and growth.

I thought this was fantastic. I appreciated the presenter's enthusiasm and I really enjoyed her context. She gave direct techniques to immediately put into practice. I can walk into a session tonight and be prepared with new ideas from Liana. I love the "dot on my screen if you agree". I work in a high school so this would be great activity the students can use on Jamboard.

Liana is a great moderator! All four presenters brought valuable insights and techniques to the play therapy table!!

I really enjoyed how approachable and understandable Dr. Deliberto was for this training. The information was presented in a way that I was easily able to translate what I learned into practice and was immediately able to treatment plan for patients I currently am seeing. I also was able to bookmark key information to use as needed moving forward.

It would be helpful to integrate this behaviour intervention with use of polyvagal arousal.

They were all very knowledgeable. I especially appreciated Lisa Dion's presentation and her real-life examples.

The training was engaging and I would recommend this presenter.

This was an amazing training. Liana Lowenstein is one of the most engaging presenters. I love that even though it was a recorded webinar, it felt live.

I enjoyed learning from a variety of professionals from around the world, and a variety of techniques that can be implemented into practice. I am looking forward to re-reviewing several as I implement them into my practice. 

I really enjoyed every presentation. Usually in participation of such productions I can gain an idea or two. But with this presentation I took every idea presented and will be able to use it in my work!!!!

I love the format of this training. I appreciated the use of Zoom. I loved the multiple presenters and the shortened length of each presentation. It was easy to navigate and follow. EXCELLENT resource for therapists!

"It's a Beautiful Day in the Playborhood" exceeded my expectations. I found it to be quite inspirational being introduced to the creative and practical therapeutic techniques that could be implemented immediately in my practice, as well as broadening my perspective on alternative approaches that I have not been exposed to before. Therefore, the wonderful references and resources that were provided is an excellent starting point to read up on these further. In addition to this, having presenters from all over the globe was a wonderful opportunity to be exposed to a broader therapeutic community. A webinar well worth attending. As a play therapist working in family court work, this training was practical and skillfully presented in a short training. I would recommend this training to anyone working with parent-child contact problems or seeing families who are experiencing separation.

Dr Deliberato is a expert in this field! I have learned so much from her. I feel this has taken me to a new level of understanding as an Eating Disorder provider. Highly recommend for all folks who treat eating disorders.

The instructor shares practical activities to use in different stages of the group process. The activities are useful, helpful, and adaptable to all ages.

The CE was great, easy to access and presenter was very engaging. It was easy for me to remain focused and engaged. It made it easy to and I look forward to more courses.

This training was an excellent place to learn specific activities to implement in my practice. The presenters were knowledgeable on their topic and brought to the table alternatives with the activities supplies if you are unable to obtain what they used for the activity. I loved learning the science behind the activities and how to discuss afterwards with our clients.

I was a jolly child watching it! It was very informative and I can safely say I"m ready to work with children.

This training was a wonderful training. Due to COVID and switching to telemental health it has been a struggle to engage younger kids, but this training has provided me with some great activities that will assist me in assisting my clients virtually. I would recommend this training to any one interested in learning new interactive techniques.

I really enjoyed this webinar and the variety of approaches that are used by the international presenters. There were many different therapeutic approaches that I was introduced to today that would be beneficial to add to my current practice. The speakers were engaging and knowledgeable about the content being presented.

This training was deep and practical, it showed how trauma forms and how this impacts treatment. Meeting the client where they are at is so important and I never understood the significance of the therapautic bond as explained today. 

Superb training, I reallly gained from the effective questions for prompting answers about crisis situations and in working with kids.

The instructors were great - relevant and knowledgeable. The training itself was sometimes hard to hear/understand due to poor sound quality.
